Genius Gluten Free Crumpets

This brand of crumpets were my favourite until they disappeared off shelves a couple of months ago. They’ve now come back and are made in Australia. This should be a good thing but the recipe has changed and they are now very damp. As is the Alternative brand, Liberate. I have these for breakfast every day but have been disappointed with this development. I’ve written to the company, and got a reply which I’m still to follow up.

0 stars if I could. It was horrendous . Disgusting bad flavour wierdly floury while also slimey but dry? So weird . 2 of us had to spit it out !

These are one of the better GF crumpets available. They are also available at Woolworths in the bread aisle with the other GF breads and other items from the Genius brand. Quite moorish when toasted and lathered with real butter and GF Vegemite
